What is BalticMiles?

BalticMiles is a new loyalty programme where you can easily earn miles in your every day life doing things you do every day and afterwards you can exchange miles for benefits, such as flights, car rental, leisure and lifestyle rewards.

How much does membership cost?
There is absolutely no cost for applying to or participating in BalticMiles.

Who can become a member?
Just about anyone may become a member, regardless of age and country of origin. In the case of citizens of countries where membership in such programmes is prohibited, BalticMiles may not allow these individuals to become members. 

How can I enrol?
Simply fill out an online application form and confirm your membership when you receive an authorization email.

Can I enrol my children?
Yes. Adults may enrol a child regardless of the child’s age. Those children will then receive one of the specially designed Young Pilot cards.

Do I get a membership card?
Yes, your permanent membership card will be sent to your postal address within a month of enrollment into the programme.

Will I get member statements or other account related information by post?
No. In order to view your account information, please log into your account online. Any member may print out his or her account statements easily from the Internet.

Where can I earn miles?

We’re proud to present the very first BalticMiles partners who are already offering you excellent opportunities to earn miles. You can find a list of opportunities on Earn miles section of this webpage.  Our aim is to incorporate partners and services from all walks of life and we are continuously striving to extend this partner network to give you more. Numerous non airline partners - ranging from retail chains, hotels, leisure partners and many more - are about to join the programme in the very near future.

What is the difference between Status Miles and Reward Miles?

Status Miles define your level of membership in the programme while Reward Miles you earn may be spent on free tickets and other of our partner offers. Status Miles may only be earned with airBaltic. The number of Status Miles determines your member status in the programme. If you reach certain Status Miles thresholds, you will qualify for the “Executive” or the “VIP” status with all the associated benefits.

Reward Miles can be earned when using all programme partners’ products and services. These miles you can spend on offers and rewards.

Can I redeem Status Miles for rewards?
No. You may only redeem Reward Miles for rewards.  

How can I earn miles on airBaltic flights?
The number of miles that you may earn on airBaltic flights depends on the region, on the booking class and on your status in the programme. Please see Earn miles section for number of miles.

If I have flow before – official launch of BalticMiles programme on October 1, 2009 will my miles be included to my BalticMiles account?
No. Because miles earning started in BalticMiles programme as of 1st October, 2009.
